Electronic personnel register
What does the law say about the dematerialized personnel register?
Companies are required to keep a single personnel register as soon as an employee is hired (as per article L. 1221-13 of the French Labor Code).
It must be kept for five years from the date on which the employee or trainee leaves the company (in accordance with article R. 1221-26 of the French Labor Code).
Failure to draw up a RUP is a fourth-class offence punishable by a fine of up to €750 for individuals and €3,750 for corporate bodies (article R. 1227-7 of the French Labor Code).
The single personnel registers digitized on Axiocap have full legal value, and are easy for all concerned to consult. Find out more about the RUP.
