WHAT THE LAW SAYS

It should be remembered that the certificate representing shares only concerns civil companies, it allows to attest the rights (shares) of each partner.

According to article 34 of the decree n°78-704 of July 3, 1978, the articles of association must provide for the possibility of issuing a certificate representing shares to the partners.
It must be entitled "certificate representing shares" crossed out with the mention "non-negotiable".

The certificate may be issued for one share, for multiple shares or for all the shares held by the partner.
